I have been teaching at the college or university level since 1998, as a visiting lecturer or as an adjunct faculty. I have spent about 99% of my teaching experience as an adjunct faculty. I have taught at University of West Florida, Pensacola State College, Gulf Coast State College and Florida State University. I have taught courses from Beginning Algebra to Calculus I. Most students find my teaching style somewhat unusual at first, but soon realize my overall goal is to give anyone, rather talented in math or have a huge math phobia, a chance at being successful in their mathematics endeavors. I am a full-time federal employee with the United States Air Force stationed at Tyndall AFB, as an Operations Research Analyst. I have been teaching at ERAU since 2014.
