Darrin Nelson

Dr. Nelson has been a faculty member at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since 2009. His pre-university teaching career includes two years as a high school instructor. His professional career includes over 30 years of experience in both the military and business sectors. He has worked in various diverse organizations and career fields with a focus on leadership, strategic management, organizational behavior, aviation maintenance management, human resources, and education.

During his personal time, Dr. Nelson is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoys running. He is a father to three children and has been married to his wife Geannette for over 30 years.
