FACTS ABOUT ME: I have been an adjunct Assistant Professor for ERAU Worldwide since 2005 and at the Barksdale AFB campus.  I retired from the Air Force in February 2011 with over 24+ years of service. I began my AF career as a Flying Crew Chief on KC-10s at Barksdale AFB in Jan 1987 within the Strategic Air Command (SAC Warrior). I was a patch-wearing SAC Journeyman Crew Chief and then moved to Travis AFB Oct 94. While in Air Mobility Command I was selected as a Certified Mechanic which enabled me to sign off my own Red X’s without a second set of eyes to inspect my work. I attained over 5000 flying hours as a Flying Crew Chief and was part of multiple campaigns within ten years enabling me to see the whole world. I was then selected for Quality Assurance "FAA" for the AF at Travis AFB and I was the lead KC-10 QA Crew Chief inspector. Also, while assigned to QA I was the Weight & Balance program manager for 62 aircraft (KC-10 & C-5). I am a graduate of the AF Aircraft Mishap Investigation course “AMIC”, Jet Engine Mishap Investigation course “JEMIC”, NCO Flight Safety course, and Boeing Human Factors course. I have my FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
