Biography
Elizabeth Cowan is an adjunct instructor in the English Department. Ms. Cowan holds an MFA in English from the University of Iowa and has taught college writing courses for over 20 years.
Ms. Cowan has taught English courses at more than half a dozen colleges and universities. She has specialized in working with unique student cohorts, teaching the entire English curriculum for an ANAPISI-grant-funded program for API students, among others. She has designed curricula for said programs and has research interests in adult learners and career transitions. In 2019, she joined the English Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, teaching English Composition and Rhetoric courses.
