Feng Zhu is an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining Embry-Riddle, he worked as a research faculty member at Automotive Safety Group and Bioengeering Center in Wayne State University. His research area is applied impact mechanics, traumatic biomechanics and safety product design. He has published 1 monograph and over 60 peer-reviewed journal papers. He is serving as academic reviewer for over 40 international journals and his work has been cited over 1,000 times. He has been appointed as chair person or committee member in a number of international conferences.
