Jens Puls received his MA in Public Administration (specialization in Law Enforcement) from German Federal Police University in 1986 and his BA in Law Enforcement/Criminology from Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences in 1977. After 22 years of service in German Federal and State law enforcement he retired 1996 as Head of Criminal Police, City of Frankfurt, followed by a career in industry. He developed a global security program for the ABB Group, Zurich, was CEO of the DB Sicherheit Security Company ($150 million revenue), Berlin and was Chief Security Officer (VP) for Europe’s largest transportation and logistics company, Deutsche Bahn Group, Berlin ($50 billion revenue).

Jens Puls is a lifetime honorary President of the European COLPOFER organization after chairing this group for 8 years, representing 24 countries and 45 international entities, accredited expert for Transportation Security at the European Union and former Chairman for Security Affairs of the Federation of German Industry.

He was author and co-author of security textbooks and is currently serving on a DHS/TSA committee to develop a National Security Strategy for US High Speed Passenger Rail.
