Biography
My Ph.D. degree was in Organization and Management where I served in various roles over my 40+year career. I served as a director of operations in for-profit global organizations in Southeastern Florida. Post-retirement, I then moved into higher education positions related to faculty leadership, curriculum design, and assessment at both online and brick-and-mortar schools. At Capella and Walden Universities, I teach the doctoral capstone and research methods courses and have served as Chair on many doctoral student dissertation committees.
My current research interests focus primarily on the integration of values-based leadership skills, values, and concepts in a global e-business environment through the application of servant leadership and virtual teaming concepts and processes. I have published 10 + peer-reviewed articles on leadership, management, and Intuitional Actions vs. Factors Influencing Distance Learning Faculty, and presented at numerous conferences include The Academic Forum and International Global Universities in Distance Education (GUIDE).
I have been teaching master’s degree courses at CSU-GC and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University over the past decade and love the challenge of mentoring and coaching adult learners to focus on their aspirations to advance their professional and social life.
