My name is Dr. Mazza, I have 30 years of professional experience, with 25 years in public transportation, 5 of those at Miami International Airport  I have held the positions of Assistant Aviation Director at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for eight years. Chairperson of Aviation Department at Miami-Dade College for five years, I also served with the US  Federal Aviation Administration, in the Great Lakes Region's office as the Program Analysis Officer overseeing funding for over 600 airports.

I have demonstrable professional expertise in the preparation of the Capital Improvement Programs and the development, review, and oversight of multi-million dollar grants and user fee applications for large government organizations. I began my Aviation Career in 1988 at a GA airport. I joined Miami International Airport in 1989, where I was charged with the preparation of the Transportation Improvement Program, Capital Improvement Program, and grants applications for MIA and 5 GA airports. I joined Broward County's Aviation Department in 1993, and I served as Assistant Aviation Director for Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport.

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation designating Wednesday, November 4, 1998, as Marjan Mazza Appreciation day. My accomplishments have also earned me the Broward County Administrator's Performance Excellence Award, Broward County Historical Commission's Historian's Award, and recognition from the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Historical Association. 

I have established an endowed scholarship at Pensacola State College and also serve on the executive board of governors at PSC foundation. The PSC board of trustees has renamed the BAS degree programs as "Marjan Mazza Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Management program."

I hold a Bachelor's of Science and Master's degrees in Business Administration from ERAU and a Doctoral in Business Administration specializing in Organization Leadership from Northcentral University, I have been teaching for ERAU since 1995.
