Mike J Mylan

As young man, Mike combined the business skills of T.H. Embry & the aviation skills of J. P. Riddle (and some of their history when he established a UK GA FBO including a maintenance business, an air taxi & cargo business, and a flying school - teaching stick & rudder skills to UK RAF flying scholarship winners.

He flew for and trained several international airlines, retiring as the corporate flight safety manager for Singapore Airlines & Singapore Air Cargo, where he commanded the A340, B747-400 and the 747-400F - again combining business & flying.

Nowadays the combination continues. He is currently a consultant for an international Asian business and—until Covid—he was teaching on A320 & B737 simulators in Dubai, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Singapore.

For ERAU Mike initially taught face-to-face at the Asian Campus, Singapore, and now teaches for the Worldwide Campus from his home in the Philippines for both the College of Aviation & the College of Business - where he feels equally at home.
