Aaron D Clevenger

Aaron serves as the Assistant Provost of International Education at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Security Studies & International Affairs on the Daytona campus and for the Masters of Human Security & Resilience for Embry-Riddle Worldwide.

Aaron graduated with a BA in Interpersonal Communication and a MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida, an MS in Human Security & Resilience from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.

His areas of research interest include International Education, Pedagogy of Place, and Cross-Cultural Communication and Cultural Competency teaching and Learning.

Aaron is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and a winner of the Outstanding Experiential Education Research/Dissertation Award from The Society for Experiential Education. Furthermore, under his leadership, Embry-Riddle has received the PIEoneer Real Life Learning Award and the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization.
