Abdurrahman Hacioglu is currently a visiting professor in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, he holds the position of professor at the Aeronautical Engineering Department at Istanbul Gelisim University. Formerly, he served as a colonel in the Turkish Air Force (TurAF), where he held various key positions including Head of the Aerospace Engineering Department at the Turkish Air Force Academy (TurAFA), Director of the Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute, Dean of Faculty at TurAFA, and Commander of the Air and Space Power Development Center at TurAF.
