Biography
With more than 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, Ajay Pradhan brings an extensive background in flight operations, instruction and leadership. He has served as a pilot as well as a flight and ground instructor for more than three decades, training pilots in technical and performance subjects and Crew Resource Management. His operational experience includes type ratings on the Dornier 228 (as a Type Rating Examiner and Instructor), De Havilland Twin Otter, Saab 340, PAC 750XL and Airbus A320. Ajay also holds an Airline Transport Pilot license in the United States and Nepal.
Ajay’s career includes leadership roles in airline management, supported by advanced study in aviation and business. He earned a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Canberra with research focused on the retention of STOL pilots in Nepal. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Northampton.
Based in Singapore, Ajay manages the trading company he founded while continuing to apply his aviation and business expertise across global contexts.
