Ajay brings more than 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a distinguished career as a pilot and over three decades of service as a flight and ground instructor. His passion for aviation and teaching is reflected in his extensive work training pilots in technical and performance subjects as well as Crew Resource Management. He holds type ratings on the Dornier 228 (as a Type Rating Examiner/Instructor), De Havilland Twin Otter, Saab 340, PAC 750XL, and Airbus A320. Ajay also holds an Airline Transport Pilot license in both the United States and Nepal.

In addition to his operational and instructional experience, Ajay has held leadership roles in airline management. He earned a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia, with research focused on the retention of STOL pilots in Nepal. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Northampton, UK.

Currently based in Singapore, Ajay manages the trading company he founded, continuing to apply his expertise in aviation and business.
