Akshata Balghare

Akshata Balghare is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Writing who primarily teaches senior capstone students. Her pedagogy emphasizes the principles and impact of effective technical communication in the context of engineering design projects.

Dr. Akshata Balghare is an advisory board member for the Undergraduate Research Institute at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus. Prior to joining Embry-Riddle, she taught technical writing as a graduate instructor at Texas Tech University and first-year writing at Auburn University. During her time at Auburn, she also served as an Editorial Assistant for the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration. In addition, she worked as an Associate Editor at Cactus Communications in India, where she edited engineering research papers for authors around the world.
