Biography
Dr. Cheatham is an associate professor of management at the O’Maley College of Business. She teaches logistics management, supply chain management, general management, Lean Six Sigma, project management and transportation. In addition to teaching, she serves as the director of accreditation, focusing on AACSB, ACBSP, AABI, and assurance of learning practices. Throughout her career, she has worked with the development and implementation of processes and policies related to management and operations, logistics and curriculum.Dr. Cheatham holds a B.S. in Technical Management and an M.S. in Management with a specialization in Integrated Logistics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Homeland Security, Leadership, and Policy. She published a dissertation focused on U.S. space policy and space operations, co-authored books on logistics management and quality function deployment (QFD) and is working on a comprehensive text on Lean Six Sigma. She holds a black belt in Lean Six Sigma and has participated in FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and industry projects focusing on commercial space integration, supply chain and lean processes.
