Dr. Danielle Camacho is an adjunct professor in the College of Business for the Worldwide Campus.
Dr. Camacho holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Sustainability, an MBA with a focus on International Human Resource Management and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Dr. Camacho is an experienced HR professional, educator, and lifelong learner with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and 20 years in online education. She has driven HR operations across both domestic and international organizations, leveraging her expertise in diverse industries such as construction, finance, education and technology. Dr. Camacho has specialized in Employment Law, Employee Relations and Immigration & Expatriation, contributing to the organization's strategic HR initiatives.
Dr. Camacho has co-authored five notable publications, including articles in The Journal of Competency-Based Education, Journal of Institutional Research and The Refractive Thinker. Her works focus on online learning, sustainability in education, personalized learning, active teaching techniques and environmentally sustainable business practices.
During her tenure at Embry-Riddle, Dr. Camacho has contributed to multiple committees, including the initiative to establish the first SHRM student chapter for online students at ERAU Worldwide. Beyond her teaching role, she has also developed several MBA courses for ERAU Worldwide.
Beyond her academic accomplishments, Dr. Camacho values spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations through travel, playing golf, reading and cooking.
