David O. Anderson received his Masters of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health and Ph.D. in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He currently serves as an adjunct in the Graduate Program at Embry-Riddle Worldwide University and was an assistant professor for 10 years at a major university in Texas, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Dr. Anderson has over 50 years of experience in various industries including electronic manufacturing, chemical and chemical process research and development, geothermal electrical generation, transportation, and private consulting, where he has also been an Expert Witness in many environmental, health and safety litigation cases.
Dr. Anderson has earned the professional designations of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) (Retired). In addition to managing a private consulting company, he has numerous publications and presentations pertaining to issues such as environmental health, occupational health, safety, fire prevention and ergonomics; he also has competitively won various training contracts in these areas for 21 years with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
