Dimitrios V Siskos

Dimitrios Siskos is an assistant professor of finance at the College of Business on the Worldwide Campus. He has extensive experience in the professional industry, as well as teaching and researching in academia. He is enthusiastic about imparting knowledge and believes in constant self-improvement. He is very meticulous and values accurate data. Additionally, he owns and manages www.thinkingfinance.info, which features his research, projects and writings.

Dimitrios Siskos holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting Studies from Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, a Master of Science in Project Management from the City University of Seattle and a Doctorate in Finance from the Swiss Management Center (SMCU) in Switzerland. Prior to his academic career, he worked for 20 years as a finance and accounting specialist in the industry sector.

Dimitrios Siskos specializes in finance, accounting and business, with a particular focus on financial statement analysis, finance and accounting for decision-making and business venture evaluations. His knowledge allows him to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful evaluations of a company's worth, taking into account various factors that influence its financial health and market position. Recently, his publications have focused on airport privatization and the PESTLE analysis of seaplane investments.

At the same time, he participates as a financial advisor to a team bidding for the acquisition and consolidation of the Caribbean aviation industry. This includes preparing consolidated profit and loss statements, balance sheets and other financial documents. This project was titled "Unlocking the Aviation Potential in the Caribbean."

Dimitrios Siskos aims to provide valuable insights to showcase his passion and commitment to aviation excellence through his publications, conferences and journals on finance and business science.

Beyond his scholarly achievements, Dimitrios Siskos enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing chess!
