Dr. Elke Speliopoulos is an adjunct professor in the Department of Humanities and Communication at the Prescott campus, teaching courses in ethics and speech.
She holds two master’s degrees: a Master of Arts in Religion with a focus on Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity in Missional Studies, both from Liberty University, as well as a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. Her doctoral research focused on the faith development of second- and third-generation children of Syriac Orthodox immigrants from the Tur Abdin region in southeastern Turkey, who had migrated to Germany. She brings academic expertise in culture, theology, and ethics. This is complemented by practical experience in teaching and management across diverse cultural and religious contexts, having served in a corporate career for many years as a manager of global teams in a global software company.
