Biography
Dr. Isaac Flint is a researcher and an educator in the field of human factors, with an emphasis on studying the link between cognitive processes and movement control. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Cognitive Sciences and Human Factors from Michigan Technological University, as well as a M.S. and B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri. In his academic work, Dr. Flint has studied the impact that age and cognitive ability has on individuals’ abilities to make effective movement corrections when faced with unexpected interruptions to their movement path. He has also worked with the Cognitive Solutions Group at the Applied Research Associates (ARA) on projects examining the usability of respiratory PPE and decision support aids. He has taught classes in psychology, human development, and critical thinking.
