Biography
Dr. Ivan Gulmesoff is an Adjunct Professor with the Applied Aerospace Science Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds a Doctorate in Global Security from American Military University and a Master of Aeronautical Science, with dual specializations in Aviation/Aerospace Management and Space Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He enlisted in the United States Navy on November 14th, 1998, fueled by a passion for aeronautics and an eagerness to excel. Throughout his career, he served in pivotal leadership roles and locations, including within the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and the U.S. European Command, as well as numerous bases along the east and west coasts of the United States. He has excelled in both intermediate and organizational aviation maintenance, with a primary focus on the F/A-18 and P-3 Orion aircraft. His extensive experience includes deployments to strategic operational areas within the Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Fleets, showcasing his commitment to excellence and national security. He is dedicated and excited to advance the knowledge landscape through rigorous critical thinking while striving to create a meaningful impact. His research interests have evolved beyond aerospace to encompass essential areas of global security, blockchain technology, and the complex challenges of space weaponization.
