Jennifer Downes holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a specialization in Human Factors. After serving as an Adjunct Professor, she transitioned into a full-time role as Assistant Professor within the Department of Aeronautical Science.

Bringing extensive experience in aviation operations, Professor Downes has held leadership and mentoring positions across corporate aviation, airline flight dispatch, and air traffic services, with additional expertise in safety management systems. Her diverse background provides students with valuable real-world insights into the aviation industry.
