Biography

Jennifer Roberts serves as the interim department chair for the Department of Aviation English. She focuses on developing and implementing aviation English training solutions for those who need to build their English proficiency for aviation operations. Before coming to Embry-Riddle, she served as an English Language Fellow in Indonesia through the U.S. Department of State, where she focused on teacher training, curriculum development and local outreach. Jennifer also serves as a vice president for the International Civil Aviation English Association (ICAEA) and the chair for the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) Interest Section for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) International.

Jennifer enjoys traveling to new countries, trying fun foods, exercising and tending to her houseplants in her free time.
