Biography
My name is Jerry Haenisch.I am presently a licensed professional Industrial Engineer located in Laramie, Wyoming. I work as a consultant and trainer in the quality, productivity and organizational development areas. After serving 24 years in the US Air Force my concluding assignment was as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Science in the Air Force ROTC department of the University of Wyoming.
During my service I was also a power plant operator, mobile air recon support tech, aircraft arresting barrier technician, Industrial Engineer, mobile engineering readiness team member, supply tech, and director of extraordinary initiatives.
I was stationed in Alaska, Germany, Thailand, South Carolina, Colorado, Ohio, Illinois, Wyoming, and Texas during my active duty career.
My academic background includes: PhD in Business Administration from Northcentral University: MS in Engineering Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology: BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois: and a BS (summa cum laude) in Management from the University of Maryland.
I have been an instructor for a number of universities and now for ERAU. My specialties are in organizational logistics, productivity enhancement, leadership, management, and, marketing. In recent years I have traveled to China, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, UK, Germany, Belgium, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and even California.
While I was born and raised in Chicago, I presently live in Laramie, Wyoming with my wife, Ilse, and enjoy international travel, photography, and walking with my dogs Surge and Spike, on the beautiful prairies of Wyoming near the Snowy Range Mountains.
