Biography
Dr. John Lamothe is an associate professor in the Humanities & Communication Department and the current Director of the QEP.
Dr. Lamothe holds a Ph.D. in Text & Technology from the University of Central Florida and a MA in English from The Pennsylvania State University. He has been a faculty member at Embry-Riddle for over 20 years.
Dr. Lamothe specializes in Sports Communication & Culture as well as Rhetoric & Composition, and his publications address a wide range of topics in sports, culture, and writing pedagogy. He also strongly advocates for Study Abroad and has led summer programs since 2018.
