Kelly Crockett

Kelly Crockett is an instructor in the Behavioral & Social Sciences Department. She holds a master’s degree in Forensic Sciences with a specialization in Investigations from National University and has completed advanced training in evidence handling, skeletal recovery, crime scene documentation, DNA basics and search and seizure law through the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. Prior to joining Embry-Riddle, she served in various law enforcement roles in Northern Arizona and Northern California, including as an Evidence Technician, Instructional Specialist and Sheriff Security Officer. Her decade-long field experience enhances her hands-on, applied approach to forensic science education.

Kelly is the founder and supervising faculty of Embry-Riddle’s Cold Case Program, which engages students in real unsolved investigations in partnership with law enforcement. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon, the national forensic science honors society. Through her teaching, mentorship and leadership, Kelly empowers students to develop strong investigative skills, ethical standards and professional confidence for careers in forensic science and criminal justice.
