Professor Maslanik started his academic career in 1990 by completing his AS in Aviation Maintenance Management from Pikes Peak Community College. From there, he went to ERAU and in 1997 completed his BS in Professional Aeronautics and his MAS in 2010.

Awards and Experience: As an Aviation professional for over 27 years, Professor Maslanik has been fortunate to work in various aviation career fields, to include: Major airlines, US Military (both Army and Air Force), FAA, Business Aviation and General Aviation. He also carries FAA certification for A&P mechanic, Inspection Authorization, Commercial pilot with over 2500 flight hours, and Certified Flight Instructor rating. In total, Professor Maslanik has been teaching for about 18 years.

Interests: When he am not teaching Professor Maslanik enjoys ATV & riding dirt bikes with his family in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
