Biography
Dr. Zhang is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Sciences at Daytona Beach campus. Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to joining Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Dr. Zhang worked as a postdoctoral research scientist at Space Science Institute and an assistant researcher at University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Zhang has a broad research interest across multiple topics in magnetospheric physics, with focuses on dayside magnetosphere interactions and radiation belt dynamics. Dr. Zhang is an expert at analyzing both satellite measurements and numerical simulation results.
