Director of Institutional Research

2021 – Present   Arkansas Baptist College, Little Rock, AR

Supervises institutional research activities which provide information to support institutional planning, policy formulation, and decision making while directing and managing data and research activities for the compilation of required state and federal reports regarding the activities of Arkansas Baptist College. Major responsibilities include:

  • Directing and coordinating activities concerned with research and evaluation of operations programs of college
  • Identifying problem areas, fiscal management analysis and sources of financial support to develop research procedures
  • Coordinating research efforts as well as analyzing and evaluating research findings
  • Coordinating activities of research staff

Took on a special project of developing a new degree program which required:

  • Proposal writing and submissions
  • Development of syllabi, assessments, and learning outcomes to ensure accreditation and pedagogical standards are being met

Adjunct Instructor

Facilitated Financial Literacy Course for undergraduate students designed to introduce basic financial literacy skills to help them make responsible financial decisions. Concepts covered include financial planning, bank accounts, credit and loans, wages and taxes, investments, and insurance.


Director of Second Chance Pell Grant Program

2020 – 2021 Shorter College, North, Little Rock, AR

Responsible for coordinating the operations of the Second Chance Pell Program for the delivery of instructions to qualified incarcerated individuals in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and Arkansas Community Corrections while maintaining a current knowledge of appropriate college and academic policies, processes, and procedures. Major responsibilities while serving as primary point of contact and supervising staff and faculty included:

  • Administering district policies and procedures for program planning and implementing of the Second Chance Pell Grant Program
  • Developing assessments and surveys that follow participants after program completion
  • Assisting the Academic Dean in conceptualizing external development processes and preparing budgets


Campus Director

2013 – 2020   Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Little Rock Air Force Base

Responsible for the operation of the Worldwide Little Rock Campus and the administrative management while supervising Assistant Campus Directors while also providing community outreach, meeting and/or exceeding campus enrollment goals, and in the oversight of the student enrollment life cycle, from prospective student to graduate. Also worked closely with the Worldwide Directors of Enrollment Development in ensuring that the desire level of the quality of education provided assisted the University in maintaining Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) accreditation. Major responsibilities included:

  • Responsible for the effective development and implementation of the Institution’s business plan and operating budget
  • Coordinated activities to expand the college frontiers, such as trade shows, school orientations, community service and business presentations of college offerings to potential industries
  • Developed and implemented the campus strategic plan to meet the retention and graduation goals
  • Supervised and/or assisted in the areas of academic affairs, marketing and recruitment, placement, counseling, financial aid, and the bursar office

Adjunct Instructor for an undergraduate business course designed to provide students with an introduction to marketing.  The course focuses on key marketing concepts, the role of marketing within organizations, and the role of marketing in society and allows students to build foundational marketing skills. Major responsibilities include:
