Biography
Dr. Maria F. Rickling is an associate professor of accounting in the Accounting, Economics, Finance and Information Sciences department of the David B. O’Maley College of Business at the Daytona Beach Campus.
Dr. Rickling holds a Ph.D. and an M.Acc. in Accounting from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Rickling held various accounting positions related to corporate financial reporting.
Dr. Rickling conducts research in the areas of financial reporting, auditing and corporate governance. In addition to her scholarly achievements and publications, she has held a variety of leadership positions within academia and is an award-winning educator who is committed to providing an engaging classroom learning experience.
