Mark  Jahanbin

Shahrooz Mark Jahanbin is a distinguished aviation safety advocate, educator, and lifelong learner with extensive experience in design, analysis, quality, and safety. Beginning as an aircraft mechanic while pursuing his Private Pilot License, a significant incident shifted his focus to safety and accident prevention. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. He has held senior engineering and leadership roles at Boeing, Leonardo Helicopters, SpaceX, and Northrop Grumman. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Sponsorship Chairman for the International Society of Air Safety Investigators and as the Commissioner of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in his town. Beyond his professional achievements, Mark is a devoted husband, father of two accomplished daughters interested in Art and science, and he is a licensed volleyball coach with a successful track record in competitive youth leagues.
