Biography
Retired from the Navy following 20+ years of service and over 5000 flight hours as an Instructor Naval Aircrewman on P-3’s. Currently work for an engineering company that provides services for the military on several programs. After the military I continued my professional development (college education) with Embry-Riddle earning a Master’s in Aeronautical Science. My passion for aviation and the interest of passing that on to others led me to becoming an Instructor.Currently working as an Operations/Analyst for a Large Scale Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Program in Patuxent River Maryland. My primary job responsibilities include proper position/tactical employment of the vehicle ensuring data collection meets the customers desires as well as maintaining situational awareness, airspace de-confliction/flight separation, and managing CRM/ORM for the flight evolution. Also, while monitoring vehicle employment during all phases of the flight from initial start-up to landing, ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft. Other job requirements consist of Combat Operational Picture Management, Tactical product manipulation and storage for customer recall and leading the pre/post flight briefs regarding flight requirements and restrictions for all phases for the event.
