Paul Foster

Adjunct Professor
Department of Graduate Studies
Worldwide College of Aeronautics

I currently working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Aviation Safety Inspector (Airworthiness – Maintenance) currently assigned as the FAA Safety Team Program Manager and the OJT Program Manager.  I have been working for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as an adjunct professor for approximately 20 years, and have worked in the aviation industry as an aircraft maintenance technician, manager, and director of maintenance.  I received my aeronautics degree from ERAU more than 20 years ago and my Master of Aeronautical Science from ERAU in 2006.  I earned my Doctorate in 2003.

I have published my doctoral research in several trade and scholarly publications, the most notable being FAA Safety Briefing.  I enjoy teaching aviation and management courses because it keeps me current with issues in the field and allows me to interact with other professionals so we can learn from one another.  In my spare time (what there is of it!) I enjoy spending time with my family and researching my family history through genealogical websites.
