Pratik  Sarker

Pratik Sarker joined as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Prescott on Spring 2022. He received his PhD in Engineering and Applied Science from the University of New Orleans in 2018. After graduation, he worked as a Lecturer in the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville till December 2019. After that and before joining ERAU, he served for Detroit Engineered Products located in Troy, Michigan for two years where he worked as a Project Engineer for both aero-thermal and propulsion systems of vehicles and was the lead of light/heavy-duty truck programs. He has research interests on advanced numerical analysis/simulation encompassing vibration with control, aerodynamics, fluid-structure interaction, thermal analysis, and energy harvesting.
