Biography
I served 20 years as a Navy pilot before retiring at the rank of Commander (O-5) in 2007. I flew nine different fixed-wing aircraft types during my service. I hold an FAA commercial pilot certificate with single & multi-engine land ratings and the B-707 & B-720 type ratings.
I have held multiple organizational leadership, management, administrative, and operational positions in aviation and non-aviation, public- and private-sector organizations.
Interests
Soccer fanatic (NCAA (1983-87) & NASL (1981-82)), fishing, hunting.

Using statistical demographic diversity profile clusters to compare levels of perceived public entrepreneurship in a Midwest state government agency's work groups (Doctoral dissertation). Dissertation proposed and tested a statistical work group classification algorithm to overcome the chronic problems that have plagued group phenomena research for more than 80 years.

Award-winning thesis proposed a visionary Web-centric recruitment marketing strategy that revolutionized the way that the military services competed for scarce human resources in the 21st Century. Allocated more than $90 Million in Congressional funding to implement thesis concepts for the US Navy.

ElNavy.com. (2001 – 2010). Proposed the concept and led the development of the military’s first-ever website designed to accommodate Hispanic influencers.
