Space OperationsBiography
Shumpei Fujimura brings more than 17 years of experience in space operations through his service with the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force. His expertise spans satellite command and control of wideband communication satellites, eastern range operations, radio frequency operations, and missile warning.
He also served as a program specialist for NASA at Kennedy Space Center within the Education and Public Affairs Directorate, supporting outreach and engagement initiatives. In addition to his space operations career, Fujimura has a strong aviation background that includes aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, aviation administration and experience as a private pilot.
