Dr. Acharyya is an Assistant Professor (Tenure - Track) of Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences. He has been with Embry-Riddle Worldwide since 2015. Dr. Acharyya’s fields of research interest are Operator Theory, and, Scholarship of teaching & learning. 

Recent Publication(s): Acharyya, Soumyadip and Wu, Zhijian. Compact and Hilbert-Schmidt Differences of weighted composition operators. Integral Equations and Operator Theory. (2017) 1 – 18

Funded Research Project (worked as the PI): Combinations of weighted composition operators and differentiation operators. This internal grant supported summer research during Summer 2016 & 2017

In his free time, Dr. Acharyya enjoys photography, and, going out for long drives.

Dr. Acharyya loves to meet and know people from all different cultures.
