Biography
Stacy Martorella is an adjunct professor for the College of Aviation, primarily instructing Uncrewed Systems and Operations.
Obtaining a Master of Science in Unmanned Systems with research fieldwork in Kosovo and Florida. Research projects span diverse applications from mapping orange fields for early detection of plant disease, providing aerial footage of property and area for vacation rental sites, and photogrammetry of historic sites across Kosovo to assist in elevating status for protection and preservation as recognized Cultural Heritage Sites.
Professor Martorella has been FAA certified as a remote pilot (since 2017) and has participated as documentation lead for the sUAS Consumer Guide.
As a native Floridian, her hobbies include paddle boarding, yoga and biking to the beach - just being out in nature. With a background in art history, exploring museums and breweries, preferably together and a love of historical fiction tends to round out the roster while vacationing.
