I retired from the United States Navy in 2003 after completing 24 years.  I went up through the ranks from E-1 to E-7 and then got commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer Program.  I can truly say that I enjoyed serving my Country and would go back if asked.

While in the military, I worked as an Administrative Officer, Legal Officer, Personnel Officer and Educational Services Officer.   I was awarded numerous decorations and medals and was named Administrative Officer of the Year for Commander, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light, U.S. Atlantic Fleet for the Year 2000.

Since my retirement, I have had several Human Resources jobs and am currently working as a Configurator System Designer Assistant.  I design septic tank trucks using the Master Product Configurator software.  I also use AutoCAD to draw a picture of what the trucks should look like after production.

I have been an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since January 2005.   I have received the following certifications:

I am working on certifying as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. When I am not teaching or working, I attend Church and bowl in two leagues.  I also enjoy swimming.  Finally, I love to sing karaoke for fun.
