Biography
Professor Tess St. John has over 25 years teaching experience in mathematics in higher education. She earned her M.S. in Mathematics from Mississippi State University, where her research focused on mathematical population dynamics models in deterministic and stochastic environments.
Since joining Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2019, Professor St. John has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including the Calculus series, Differential Equations, Statistics and Calculus for Business and for Aeronautics.
Professor St. John serves on the university's Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Learning Applications Advisory Group. She also serves as the Faculty Sponsor of the student organization, Delta Nu.
Outside of academia, she enjoys spending time with her family, spending time on the water and dancing.
