Tricia Fantinato, Esq.  is an adjunct instructor. Ms. Fantinato is a UAS Security Specialist within the Federal Aviation Administration’s UAS Security Testing and Research division in the Office of UAS and Emerging Entrants Security. Ms. Fantinato oversees UAS detection and mitigation testing and research efforts and supports the development of U.S. UAS security policies. Ms. Fantinato also works with U.S. and international organizations and standards bodies to develop guidelines for UAS detection and mitigation systems. Ms. Fantinato is the CEO of Astrid Aviation and Aerospace LLC, an aviation consulting company supporting educational development and efforts in communities throughout the United States. She has over 25 years’ of experience in airport planning, design and compliance and has supported the integration of new and emerging aviation technologies throughout the United States and abroad.  She received two master's degrees, MBA-A and MAS-Aerospace System Safety and Aerospace Operations, from Embry-Riddle and is a bar-certified lawyer in good standing in Alabama.
