Biography
Dr. Burak Cankaya has a doctoral degree from Lamar University in Industrial Engineering, he has an M.S. degree from University of Houston in Technology Project Management and B.S. degree from Karadeniz Technical University in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining to ERAU as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Cankaya was a Sr. Operations Research Analyst at NetJets which is an industry leading Berkshire Hathaway owned Private Jet company. He has previous industry and research experience in Transportation Industry and Oil& Gas industry. His passion is Analytics,Operations Research and Data Science. He believes that conducting research on these fields and teaching the tech skills to lead the 4th industrial revolution is the best contribution he can do to the society.
