Dr. Glenn Brown is an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Business in the Department of Decision Science and Analytics on the Worldwide Campus.
Dr. Brown holds an Ed.D. in E-Learning from Northcentral University, an M.S. in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University. Dr. Brown has taught at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for over 20 years, both in-person and online. He retired from the United States Air Force after 25 years. He worked with Lockheed Martin as a Department of Defense (DOD) contractor, flight simulator instructor and system administrator instructing management information systems and information technology.
Dr. Brown’s research interests center on online facilitation methods, the promotion of an online sense of community and the development of higher education relationships in an online setting. He also focuses on information technology changes and management, identifying gaps and paradigm shifts and changing the status quo.
Dr. Brown instructs cybersecurity, national security, information systems and technology management at undergraduate and graduate levels. He is an active member of the Alamo PMI Chapter, Alamo Information System Security Association and Kappa Delta Pi. Dr. Brown is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) educator.
Beyond his scholarly achievements, Dr. Brown is a Part 107 remote pilot, actively engaging with aviation outside his research pursuits.
