Instruction Bio: I am native of San Antonio, TX resides in Ardmore, TN with my wife. I have had two careers in the Federal Government sector. One career I was in the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel Medical Service Corps Officer where I worked as a Hospital Commander, a Hospital Executive Officer, a Hospital Administrator, a Medical Evacuation Pilot and a Medical Logistics Officer which I retired from in Feb 2003. The other career is as a civil servant working for the Army where I have held many positions in program management offices in the management and logistical areas. As of Jan 2018 I retired as a Senior Logistical Management Specialist for the US Army, Huntsville, Alabama assigned to the Fixed Wing Project Manager's Office with 41 years on the job.  I currently work as a contractor for ATG working on a Government contract. I have been an adjunct instructor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for several years now and have extensive teaching experiences in the management and logistics disciplines both online and live classes. I am an active participant in the ERAU Huntsville Campus activities. I hold a commercial instrument rotor wing pilots license and a Fix Wing Private Pilots license. I also hold Government level three certifications in Acquisition Logistics and Program Management and I am Level two certified in Test and Evaluation.

Course Assignments: You must use APA citations to back up the facts you state in your assignments. Late Assignment Policy: All homework assignments must be completed on time, unless prior arrangements have been made with your instructor. Failure to contact your instructor might result in a zero for the assignment at the instructors’ discretion. All students are expected to attend all classes. If you are not able to attend a class you must notify the instructor before class. Failure to do so could result in reduction of point for the discussing assignment for the modules week at the discretion of the instructor. All assignments will be completed in a professional manner and on time, unless prior arrangements have been made with the professor.  CANVAS assignments are graded with class participation. This course includes weekly activities, each of which may have grade points associated with them. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor, students are expected to participate each week, according to the course schedule. This is especially important with regards to discussion activities. Weekly discussions typically include both an initial posting and one or more substantive replies. Embry-Riddle is committed to maintaining and upholding intellectual integrity. All students, faculty, and staff have obligations to prevent violations of academic integrity and take corrective action when they occur. The adjudication process will include the sanction imposed on students who commit the following academic violations, which may include a failing grade on the assignment, a failing grade for the course, suspension, or dismissal from the University.
